Honoring a Life of Love, Giving, and Purpose
Sarra Abuanga was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and friend whose compassion touched countless lives. She believed deeply in helping others—especially mothers and children in need. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.
In 2021, while eight months pregnant with her son, Sarra tragically passed away due to a pulmonary embolism. The pain of losing both Sarra and her unborn child was devastating. But in the midst of grief, her family found strength in her example.
What began as a small act of charity—her uncle, Essam Bringi, using leftover funds from her memorial in Sudan to buy medicine for a sick child—soon became something greater. That single gesture lit a spark that grew into Sarra’s Charitable Organization.
Today, Sarra’s Charity is a living tribute to her spirit. It exists to carry forward her legacy by supporting the most vulnerable—pregnant women, infants, and children—in her hometown of Kadugli, South Kordofan, Sudan, and beyond.
Through healthcare initiatives, nutritional support, education, and shelter, we are committed to continuing Sarra’s mission of mercy and hope. Her name now stands for a future where every mother and child has the chance to live with dignity, health, and opportunity.
Sarra gave with her heart. We give in her name.
